Smoothed line

Mar 21, 2011 at 9:43 PM

I'm using a line graph as follows:

var chart = worksheet.Drawings.AddChart("chart"eChartType.Line) as ExcelLineChart;

This draws a graph with smooth rounded lines, because in excel the checkbox 'Smoothed line' in 'Line Style' in 'Format Data Series' dialog is checked.

How can I uncheck this, so that I have straight lines?

This is a difference between Excel 2007  (not smooth) and Excel 2010 (Smooth). I'll add a fix for it next time I check in.

That's great, thank you again for the work!

I am having the same problem. Using the v3 beta I am getting smooth lines. Is it something I am doing wrong?

var chart = (ExcelLineChart)totalSent.Drawings.AddChart("chart1", eChartType.Line);
chart.Smooth = false;
chart.SetPosition(0, 630);
chart.SetSize(800, 600);
chart.Title.Text = string.Empty;
var series = chart.Series.Add("'" + partnerCampaginTotals.Name + "'!" + "E1:E5", "'" + partnerCampaginTotals.Name + "'!" + "C1:C5");
series.Header = "Number of Emails";
