Creating a chart without a Title

Aug 11, 2011 at 3:10 PM

Hi,

I have been using this awesome library for a couple of days now, but i have run into a problem.

I need to create a chart, and this chart should not have a title.

I have looked around in the source code and in the samples without any luck.

So my question is: Is there a way to either create the chart without a title, or to remove it after creation ?

Thanks,

Christian

How about just setting the text to empty and setting it the overlay to false? There might be a better way but

chart2.Title.Text = "";

chart2.Title.Overlay = false;

I have already tried this method.

While it does "hide" the title, the title still takes up space preventing the chart from using the blank space.

Hi,

If you don't access the Title property the title is not created.

There is no build-in method to remove it once it has been created. The only way is to delete the c:title element directly in the ChartXml-document.
