How to setvalue by cell alias name?

Feb 22, 2012 at 5:14 AM

I have a template,there have three sheet.sheet2 and sheet3 are copy from sheet1.

In sheet1,there had use cell alias name(sheet1 have 7 cell alias name). So we can find those names from Excel name manager.

don't forget,sheet2 and sheet3,because copy from sheet1,so they also have same cell alias name.but in excel name manager,we found, those are different.

like this.different reference address, and different range(some are workbook, some are different worksheet).

those, just tell you,why one workbook have same cell alias name.

So,my question is,how to setvalues,by cell alias name?

for example:

there have a cell in sheet1,the celladdress is "B2",and it's cell alias name is "printDate".

i want to set this cell a value is "2012-02-22" by cell alias name "printDate".

i had checked,worksheet.names.count is 0,and workbook.names.count is 7,i think, worksheet.nams.count should be 7,and workbook.names.count should be 21.but they are not. I don't know why? maybe,it's a bug.i am not sure.

I just want to setvalues,by cell alias name.

please help me and give me some suggestion.Thanks.

Just wanted to say I have this exact same problem.  In fact, if you save the excel package after loading it, indeed it erases all cell alias names that you had in the worksheet.
