Why does LoadFromCollection remove Underscores from the column names?

Aug 12, 2014 at 4:17 PM
I am using 3.1 in .net 4. Great API.

I noticed that if I have LoadFromCollection set to insert the column headers it is hard-coded to remove underscores. So I thought I would tell it not to do that and I would add them myself to the first row.

When I do that, it does not properly get the field names - it just says "ColumnX" where is a sequential number.

In excel, as far as I know, there is nothing wrong with have underscores in a pivot table data source. What is causing the problem here?

Thanks

I also noticed this behavior in EPPlus 4.0 Beta 2.

I wanted to delete all columns which start with "ID_" but I only managed to hide all columns which starts with "ID "

Great API so far, but I would love to see a delete method.
 worksheet.Column(i).Delete();
